Innovator Materials Handling System

Out of necessity this innovation was born to handle all types of containerised products related to fuel price and tonnage moved, a greater need to save costs has become apparent. Now a universal handling unit concept without large capital investment has come into its own.

The innovator trailer mechanism can be propelled by various means, namely: tractor drawn, bakkie drawn and behind a 4, 6 or 8 tonne truck.

• Tractor drawn whereby the hydraulic lifting mechanism is operated off the tractors hydraulics.
• Bakkie drawn can use a goose-neck towing method or a conventional tow bar. Both connections use a ball hitch. The hydraulic lifting mechanism is operated off a donkey engine or a power pack off the bakkies battery.
• 4, 6 or 8 tonne truck drawn where the hydraulic lifting mechanism is off the power take-off p.t.o of the truck or powered from a donkey engine.

Different types of containers can be used, namely:

• Closed or open for waste material or refuse
• Workshop, storage shed, living quarters
• Water and fuel bowsers
• Flat deck for handling many products and wildlife.
